Comet Ridge Limited (ASX:COI) wishes to provide an update on drilling operations at the Mira 6 lateral intercept well.
The 8.5” build section was successfully drilled to 362.6m to an inclination of 82 degrees at the top of the Castor seam which is the target of the lateral well path.
7” casing has been run and cemented and shoe track and float equipment drilled out with a 6.125” rotary drilling assembly. Current operations are preparing to run the 6.125” directional assembly to geosteer in the Castor Seam towards Mira 2 and intersect that well.
